Day 5: Primo Esperimento

today was the first day of my experiment, madd useless details will be left out, all you need to know is that i get to mess with people's brains and muscles for free!! yeah! so this was my first victim, pepe, and no he is not affiliated with the clothing line.

as well as experimenting with people's brains, i experimented with my food and dared to enter the hallowed fortress of the student cafeteria. let just say, i will leave my experiments in the lab, the food was non buona. i mean just look at it...
today's italian word of the day that means something entirely different in english is: "mice"= a small yellow bean. so yes you can imagine my amazement when someone gave me a menu and described to me that it had mice in it, i was surely disgusted. then i was offered a rabbit soup, sadly there was really rabbit in the soup...i declined the offer.
then i walked around the campus a bit, took some flicks in the garden outside the lab. and you can see almost all of east genoa, from the corner of the campus, it sure is a beautiful sight.
then that night i went to Bove's pentouse apartment on top of the "5th ave of Genoa" nice company, and i almost felt italian ... wish you were here. ciao.

Day 4: Familiarity Breeds Contentment

Today was the beggining of the never-ending search to find an adapter so that my American laptop could fit into the European plugs that surge at about 240 V that will blow my little "lappie" to smithereans....

So i left the univerisity a little early in search of an adpater/converter so i went back to via XX settembre, to look for an electronic store, and hit up fnac , yes that is a store. they didnt have it :( long story short i ended up empty handed, but i had a lot of sight-seeing. i just started aimlessly rooming the cobble-stone streets, and meandered my way on the bus. you try figuring the signage out...?????

but then a bright light hit my eye, it shone bright red, in a way that only an old-friend could. then i stood, gazing at the one familiar sight i had seen in the past four days...and H&M. of course i went in just because i could. hehe.

so on my trip i saw christopher columbus' house (apparently he is from genoa, who knew???), i saw mad old buildings, and some fountainy things.

nah this aint a statue, this is some white dude (painted white, i'm not being obscene) that looks like a statue. i've seen better in 34th street train station. and when you give him change he bows :/
this is christopher's house (yeah we on a first name basis now)...
...and i saw our italian word of the day that means something totally different in english: this word is soo familiar i will just let the picture speak for itself. hehe.
yes you eyes do not decieve you indeed, the word f-ck, is there is all its glory and splendor. after a sight like that i was satisfied and retired to my room where i did a much needed cleaning, of the match-box called my dorm room, all with the aid of AJAX (yeah they got that too!!)

peep the video of the room...
